Relationship tension is the leading cause of suicide among teenagers. It can be seen that children of this age are more in love than emotional. In many cases, they will make a big decision based on a small incident based on communication. In addition to romantic relationships, children of this age are also stressed about academic matters. For example, because of not passing an exam, not performing as expected, teenagers decide to commit suicide.

Relationships are just as responsible for suicide among 18-30 year olds as they are among teenagers. A love affair, the breakup of a relationship — such events increase the tendency to commit suicide. Marital problems are primarily responsible for the increase in suicide among women aged 18-30.

The number of such suicides is increasing exponentially and is called "Impulsive Suicide". There are also career-related issues. People of this age group are the most productive. And the number of suicides among people in this age group seems to remain the same from year to year.

Just a few years ago, male and female suicide rates in India were similar. The number of suicides among housewives is high. Women commit suicide more often due to gambling, domestic violence. On the other hand, men are more likely to commit suicide due to career stress. However, the total number of suicides has increased due to the pandemic.
