LOS ANGELES - - — Matt Ryan hit a tying 3-pointer at the guideline bell, Lonnie Walker made a key 3-pointer in extra time while scoring 28 focuses, and the Los Angeles Lakers beat the New Orleans Pelicans 120-117 Wednesday night for their second consecutive triumph after a 0-5 beginning to the season.
Anthony Davis had 20 focuses and 16 bounce back for the Lakers, who blew a noteworthy lead and had all the earmarks of being done before Dyson Daniels' two missed free tosses with 1.4 seconds passed on in guideline permitted the Lakers to run one final play.
Austin Reaves made a smooth crosscourt pass to Ryan, and the novice who shockingly made the Lakers' program last month penetrated a fallaway 3 before their seat to compel OT.

"We did all that we expected to do to set ourselves in a situation to dominate that match, and we let it get away," Pels mentor Willie Green said. "This is most certainly a development second for a portion of our young folks. We didn't have the right to dominate that match, so credit to the Lakers. ... We can hardly hold on until the last part to conclude we need to play, and that is the very thing we did."
Williamson scored 14 focuses in the final quarter and pushed New Orleans to an important lead in the last moment of guideline. New Orleans seemed to have it wrapped up when Larry Nance Jr. dunked with 7.8 seconds to play and Walker missed a tying 3-point endeavor.
